From Local Roots to Lasting Change
Divina Cassoma plays a central role in Groundd’s work in Angola. As an agronomist and agroforestry specialist, she supports rural communities in building more sustainable and resilient futures through nature-based solutions and regenerative practices.

Her work spans regenerative agriculture, project implementation, and the empowerment of rural women. She brings deep experience as a rural extensionist and trainer, supporting local facilitators in leading Farmer Field Schools (FFS) that combine local knowledge with practical innovation.

In MOSAP 3 (Family Farming Transformation Project in Angola), Divina leads participatory rural assessments and develops tailored learning plans for each FFS.

Divina also volunteers as a technical advisor for the Regional Center for Agroecological Practices (CERPA), the first school of agroecology in Angola. Based in the Huíla province at the Catholic mission in Gambos, CERPA is a training hub for sustainable farming methods rooted in community values and environmental care. Through each project, Divina helps strengthen the foundations of rural life: land, knowledge, and shared effort.
