Nature-Based Solutions

We support institutions to implement interventions like reforestation and wetland restoration. These projects enhance climate resilience, reduce emissions, and generate sustainable livelihoods. 

 

Conservation Enterprises 30x30

We work alongside rural communities to conserve land and resources, aligned with the global 30×30 target and inspired by E.O. Wilson’s Half-Earth concept. We apply our Community Conservation Enterprises Rating System (CERS) to assess Community Conservation Enterprises, combining financial, environmental, and social criteria. With tools like participatory mapping and land tenure practices, CERS helps communities balance biodiversity protection, climate resilience, and livelihoods.

 

Community-Centered Development
Local knowledge and needs are at the core of our approach. Through FPIC (Free, Prior and Informed Consent) and inclusive governance systems, communities co-create and lead projects. This builds ownership and ensures that solutions are socially accepted and sustainable in the long run. By embedding climate literacy, financial inclusion, and viable business models, we ensure that communities not only adapt to climate change but also benefit from it economically.

Policy Development & Green Exports
We help craft policies that promote sustainable commodities such as honey and non-timber forest products. These policies link governance, fair market access, and conservation outcomes which support rural economies while regenerating ecosystems.
